There are roughly 300 000 abortion determined women in South Africa each year. The abortion industry purposefully targets and exploits them so they believe abortion is their only option, and only 7% of clinics provide abortion. There has been no rescue system, until now. Warriors for Life is fully Christian based and building a safe place for woman, men and children, with no judgement but just acceptance, love and understanding to help rescue these women and their children from abortion, through counselling, education and emotional, spiritual and physical support.
About Warriors for Life
Warriors for Life was founded by Lodene Van Blerk. A three attempted abortion survivor who gives glory to God every day for saving her life. As a three attempted abortion survivor, Lodene’s heart is to support, train and equip communities about the impact of abortion and offer emotional, spiritual and physical support, counselling and education to women, men, families and communities affected by unwanted pregnancies and abortions.
South Africa abortion Statistics:
Despite the fact that abortion is legal in South Africa, it is estimated that between 52% and 58% of the estimated 280 000 abortions that take place in South Africa every year are illegal. That is almost 800 lives lost a day and it’s increasing, less than 7% of the country’s 3 880 public health facilities perform termination of pregnancy. This is far less than the 505 medical facilities designated by the Department of Health to perform abortion across South Africa. 3262 Girls age between 10 and 14 gave birth during 2018 in South Africa.
What We Do
Warriors for Life operates 3 driven programs in communities nationwide. These departments continually test and optimize their practices so that we listen to and serve the abortion-determined community with greater effectiveness
